Truly, it is an outstanding restaurant without any exaggeration. The food is delicious, and it is one of the best Lebanese restaurants in Hammersmith. Abdullah from Saudi Arabia

I'd be lying if I said I "discovered" this gem because it was, in fact, a recommendation from Nigella (Lawson). Both Abir and Rabih were attentive from the outset and even went out of their way to advise not to order too much, which I appreciated because I consider throwing food away, a sin. Having visited Lebanon and gravitate towards Arabic cuisine, irrespective of where I visit, "Chez Abir" stands out on its own as traditional, home-cooked approach, which is an absolute blessing for Londoners and tourists alike.

When Lebanese food is done authentically well, there's nothing like it. Chez Abir has taken care of the produce and little details in their dishes that make you feel like you're dining in someone's home in downtown Beirut. The smokeyness of the mouttaba, the velvety texture of the hummus, or the juiciness of the chicken shish kebab, did not go unnoticed. It was done just right and with love. The crunchy tattoush and the balanced okra were also delicious. I feel blessed to have this in our neighbourhood. Shall definitely be back to try other delights and warm hospitality.

Nestled in the heart of London’s Hammersmith, Chez Abir Lebanese Restaurant brings the authentic flavors of Lebanon to 34 Blythe Rd. This culinary gem is a testament to traditional home-cooked Lebanese cuisine, praised by locals and visitors alike for its genuine taste and heartfelt hospitality.

The menu is a vibrant celebration of Lebanese classics, each dish crafted with attention to detail and quality ingredients. Highlights include the fresh and zesty Tabbouleh and perfectly crispy Falafel, which set a bright, herbaceous tone to the dining experience. The rich, smoky depth of their Baba Ghanoush and the velvety smoothness of the Hummus showcase a mastery of mezze that invites sharing and savoring. The Chicken Livers, marinated with fragrant spices, offer a robust and savory punch, balanced beautifully by the refreshing notes of the house-made Lemonade and the unique sweetness of Jallab, a traditional fruit syrup drink.

For those seeking heartier fare, the Mixed Grill Kebabs and succulent Shish Tavouk transport you straight to Beirut’s bustling streets with their juicy, tender cuts expertly grilled to perfection. Kebab lovers will appreciate the depth and flavor embedded in every bite, while the Fattoush and Green Bean dishes add a refreshing crunch and balance to the meal.

If dessert is your target, the Baklava here is a symphony of flaky pastry, rich nuts, and sweet honey – a perfect end to an already impressive feast. Pairing these plates with a glass of authentic Lebanese wine elevates the experience, drawing out the Mediterranean earthiness and subtle spice in each dish.

What truly stands out at Chez Abir is the palpable warmth and sincerity in service, mirrored in the food’s home-cooked quality. Reviewers echo this sentiment, likening the experience to dining in a Beirut home, where care is as important as flavor. The restaurant’s commitment to authenticity is unwavering, avoiding exaggeration or gimmicks, focusing instead on genuine taste and cultural heritage.

In a city teeming with dining options, Chez Abir claims a unique place by delivering Lebanese cuisine that is as much about tradition as it is about outstanding quality and convivial atmosphere. Whether you're a connoisseur of Arabic dishes or a curious newcomer, the interplay of fresh herbs, smoky grills, and vibrant mezze here promises a memorable culinary journey.
